Pimanpiro SC's Cevallos Huerta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Pimanpiro SC from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Herbalife F.C.'s Norberto Natanael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cevallos Huerta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Norberto Natanael in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Figueroa Rubain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herbalife F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Figueroa Rubain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cevallos Huerta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Pimanpiro SC's zone, Figueroa Rubain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cevallos Huerta came out of the goal and Figueroa Rubain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Figueroa Rubain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cevallos Huerta was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Cevallos Huerta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Natanael, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Herbalife F.C.'s Figueroa Rubain got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Herbalife F.C.'s Orlando Agranja got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Espriella could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Ramón Campa however easily saved by the left post. Herbalife F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
