Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Fortunato Rodas made the kick off and thus started the match. Blandón Gargollo came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Pimanpiro SC's Cristian Espriella. But to his dismay, Cristian Espriella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristian Espriella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Blandón Gargollo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Teofilio Balbin put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cevallos Huerta. Cevallos Huerta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zarando Taracena in the 16th minute of the match. Cevallos Huerta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilio Balbin in the 18th minute of play. Desiderio Sigüenza kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. CD Llumaguango's Zarando Taracena got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilio Balbin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevallos Huerta having to interfere. Gustavo Villanueva kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zarando Taracena in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cevallos Huerta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pimanpiro SC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Desiderio Sigüenza hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Teofilio Balbin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilio Balbin made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Teofilio Balbin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pimanpiro SC's Cevallos Huerta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilio Balbin in the 59th minute of play forced Pimanpiro SC's goalkeeper Cevallos Huerta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Espriella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blandón Gargollo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Espriella, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Zarando Taracena took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cevallos Huerta. Cevallos Huerta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Fortunato Rodas scored 2-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blandón Gargollo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Zarando Taracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Llumaguango's supporters rose to their feet, but Zarando Taracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cevallos Huerta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th match minute, Pimanpiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Peralves to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Teofilio Balbin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Llumaguango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilio Balbin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Villalcazar during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 minutes of play, Pimanpiro SC's Cristian Espriella made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blandón Gargollo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 96 played minutes, Pimanpiro SC's Marcos Peralves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blandón Gargollo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pimanpiro SC reached it. CD Llumaguango were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
