LDU's Brito Telleria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Bernabe in the 24th minute of play. Sándor Simicska made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernández Riguera in the 28th minute of play. Brito Telleria came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by fuͥ†bͣoͫlGOKUTHAN's Marco Alberdi. But to his dismay, Marco Alberdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 33rd minute of the match, Maximo Bernabe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brito Telleria saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bernardo Giral managed to get in a good position for a shot. fuͥ†bͣoͫlGOKUTHAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Giral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brito Telleria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubén Viesca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Rubén Viesca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fuͥ†bͣoͫlGOKUTHAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubén Viesca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in LDU's zone, Bernardo Giral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brito Telleria came out of the goal and Bernardo Giral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes fuͥ†bͣoͫlGOKUTHAN got a freekick which was hit by Marco Alberdi. After a defensive mix-up in LDU's zone, Bernardo Giral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brito Telleria came out of the goal and Bernardo Giral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to fuͥ†bͣoͫlGOKUTHAN getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Wellington Valcuende hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Bernabe made a kick off. Marco Alberdi struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Brito Telleria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fuͥ†bͣoͫlGOKUTHAN. Bernardo Giral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Brito Telleria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brito Telleria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Giral in the 67th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, fuͥ†bͣoͫlGOKUTHAN's Marco Alberdi made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brito Telleria was left in no man's land by his defense there! LDU's Brito Telleria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Peru in the 74th minute of play. If Maximo Bernabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Giral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brito Telleria having to interfere. Brito Telleria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Giral in the 80th minute of play. Brito Telleria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubén Viesca went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, LDU's Bran Vea got a free kick in the 88th minute. Maximo Bernabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 96th minute of the match Eugenio Escobedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sándor Simicska skillfully saved the ball.
