In the 9th minute, Walme Maysonet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perlaza Aramburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walme Maysonet in the 14th minute of play. Casanga's Perlaza Aramburu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Casanga from getting a goal against them. Perlaza Aramburu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xesus Hondraita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garcia Valdivielso in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Perlaza Aramburu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21st match minute, Asociación Portete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Losua to maneuver through the defense. Manolo Frias kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Weterio Provencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casanga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asociación Portete the free kick. If Garcia Valdivielso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Asociación Portete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xesus Hondraita to maneuver through the defense. Perlaza Aramburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xesus Hondraita in the 31st minute of play. Garcia Valdivielso struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Perlaza Aramburu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asociación Portete. Ismael Villafaña came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Perlaza Aramburu could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xesus Hondraita in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perlaza Aramburu saved Casanga from getting behind. The supporters of Asociación Portete booed when Casanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Coro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garcia Valdivielso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Perlaza Aramburu made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Manolo Frias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xesus Hondraita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Walme Maysonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Asociación Portete getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fiallos Cuartas hit a great ball. Perlaza Aramburu came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Asociación Portete's Garcia Valdivielso. But to his dismay, Garcia Valdivielso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Garcia Valdivielso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casanga's Perlaza Aramburu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcia Valdivielso in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Casanga's Weterio Provencio got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Asociación Portete's Xesus Hondraita made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perlaza Aramburu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Garcia Valdivielso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perlaza Aramburu was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. If Bernardo Losua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Asociación Portete's Bernardo Losua in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casanga's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the game, Bernardo Losua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Perlaza Aramburu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xesus Hondraita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perlaza Aramburu having to interfere. Asociación Portete's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
