Zuberoa Brochero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walme Maysonet went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leo Almaraz was a little too slow when Patricio Agosto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Urive got free with Leo Almaraz in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Bernardo Losua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Losua in the 25th minute of play forced CD LOS BUENASOS XD's goalkeeper Zuberoa Brochero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Garcia Valdivielso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asociación Portete's supporters rose to their feet, but Garcia Valdivielso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zuberoa Brochero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Yánez Ontoria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Walme Maysonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zuberoa Brochero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Asociación Portete were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Walme Maysonet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asociación Portete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walme Maysonet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Urive charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Urive the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, CD LOS BUENASOS XD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Urive to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Asociación Portete getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Xurxo Acebal hit a great ball. Garcia Valdivielso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zuberoa Brochero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 68 in the game by Walme Maysonet from a close distance when the talented Zuberoa Brochero managed to make a qualified save. CD LOS BUENASOS XD's players were relieved. 70 minutes in the game, Walme Maysonet fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zuberoa Brochero having to interfere. Genaro Tejerizo made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Asociación Portete's Bernardo Losua. If Walme Maysonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asociación Portete's Garcia Valdivielso got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luciano Urive was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. The supporters of Asociación Portete booed when CD LOS BUENASOS XD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Urive didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Agosto's late challenge caught a Asociación Portete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Agosto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CD LOS BUENASOS XD's Patricio Agosto got a free kick in the 80th minute. Garcia Valdivielso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuberoa Brochero having to interfere.
