After 3 played minutes Costa Independiente got a freekick which was hit by James Casar. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, James Casar put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gian-Carlo Gabaldon. 11 minutes into the match, Costa Independiente's Graziani Maestre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gian-Carlo Gabaldon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Costa Independiente's Emanuel Arechavala got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Arechavala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gian-Carlo Gabaldon was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Graziani Maestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Graziani Maestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gian-Carlo Gabaldon having to interfere. A hard shot 29 in the game by Emanuel Arechavala from a close distance when the talented Gian-Carlo Gabaldon managed to make a qualified save. CA Raffaello's players were relieved. Gian-Carlo Gabaldon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graziani Maestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 37 in the game by Emanuel Arechavala from a close distance when the talented Gian-Carlo Gabaldon managed to make a qualified save. CA Raffaello's players were relieved. Graziani Maestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gian-Carlo Gabaldon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Graziani Maestre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Emanuel Arechavala struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gian-Carlo Gabaldon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Independiente. Graziani Maestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gian-Carlo Gabaldon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Arechavala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Gian-Carlo Gabaldon made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Graziani Maestre to strike the kick off in the second half. Graziani Maestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Graziani Maestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gian-Carlo Gabaldon having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Graziani Maestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gian-Carlo Gabaldon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CA Raffaello's zone, James Casar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gian-Carlo Gabaldon came out of the goal and James Casar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Emanuel Arechavala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Arechavala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Xandro Bordonoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Raffaello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Independiente the free kick. In the 70th minute, Xandro Bordonoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gian-Carlo Gabaldon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Arechavala in the 73rd minute of the match. Graziani Maestre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, CA Raffaello's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Arechavala came free, but Gian-Carlo Gabaldon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Graziani Maestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 84 minutes, James Casar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Independiente and the CA Raffaello players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costa Independiente's Graziani Maestre got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Graziani Maestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graziani Maestre in the 96th minute of play forced CA Raffaello's goalkeeper Gian-Carlo Gabaldon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Barco might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lopez Vilamajo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Barco ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that Costa Independiente were the better team. Costa Independiente's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
