In the 13th minute, Astor Nesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Polo Basabe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When German Larramendi fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Side FC's protests and gave German Larramendi a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dark Side FC! After a rather tough play, Dark Side FC's Marquez Carbajal got a free kick in the 27th minute. Astor Nestos short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Polo Basabe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 32 minutes into the game, Astor Nesto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Polo Basabe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xoan Neira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kaviedes Flames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polo Basabe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Nesto in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Damazy Budarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 54th match minute, Dark Side FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Söderkvist to maneuver through the defense. Polo Basabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Araújo in the 59th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Leoncios Sporting Club's Oswaldo Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Polo Basabe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Polo Basabe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Araújo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. A collision led to Dark Side FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alfredo Martines hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Leoncios Sporting Club's Celso Candana got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leoncios Sporting Club's zone, Alfredo Martines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaviedes Flames came out of the goal and Alfredo Martines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Astor Nesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Polo Basabe. Dark Side FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Nesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. If Marquez Carbajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Astor Nesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leoncios Sporting Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Nesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polo Basabe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Side FC's zone, Astor Nesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polo Basabe came out of the goal and Astor Nesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Leoncios Sporting Club's Oswaldo Araújo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Leoncios Sporting Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
