Gavica Mirones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aires Gavilan having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Morales Ramin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aires Gavilan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Moisés Saco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Dean in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Guamán Camara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Dean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Saco having to interfere. If Gavica Mirones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aires Gavilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavica Mirones in the 33rd minute of play. Aires Gavilan came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Canelos's Gavica Mirones. But to his dismay, Gavica Mirones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Dean to make the kick off. Angelita FC's Oscar Dean got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Canelos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
