In the 8th minute, Barquilla's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Santiago Sanes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tenorio Taranco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ordóñez Frade in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sebastian Cuadro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barquilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Cuadro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Zabaleta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17thth minute of the game Sebastian Cuadro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BRADFORD UNITED's Alonzo Zabaleta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alonzo Zabaleta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Feyto in the 19th minute of play. A hard shot 25 in the game by Santiago Sanes from a close distance when the talented Tenorio Taranco managed to make a qualified save. Barquilla's players were relieved. Vitin Orbaneja kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Ordóñez Frade struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tenorio Taranco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRADFORD UNITED. Xove Manzanos charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xove Manzanos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 39 minutes into the match, BRADFORD UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Feyto came free, but Alonzo Zabaleta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barquilla's Tenorio Taranco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ordóñez Frade in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 53 minutes, Santiago Sanes made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barquilla's Tenorio Taranco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Feyto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Feyto struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alonzo Zabaleta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barquilla. When Pedro Feyto came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Barquilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Feyto couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes in the game, Sebastian Cuadro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alonzo Zabaleta having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, BRADFORD UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Ramírez Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Barquilla's Pedro Feyto got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonzo Zabaleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Cuadro in the 83rd minute of the match. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BRADFORD UNITED.
