Lastra Negrete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zernin Roxas went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ambrossi Ulloa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitishca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrossi Ulloa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costante Miquelarena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With splendid footwork Xelo Rascuro arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 27th minute. After 32 played minutes CD Derna got a freekick which was hit by Valerio Bello. 35 minutes into the match, CD Derna's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrossi Ulloa came free, but Costante Miquelarena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ambrossi Ulloa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitishca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrossi Ulloa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costante Miquelarena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zambrano Lama in the 41st minute of play forced CD Derna's goalkeeper Costante Miquelarena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zernin Roxas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lastra Negrete having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pitishca's Hernan Gibaja got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, CD Derna's Salvador Romuroso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

After 53 played minutes Pitishca got a freekick which was hit by Zambrano Lama. If Roberto Dosal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zernin Roxas came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the CD Derna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zernin Roxas couldn't finish the play. Lastra Negrete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xelo Rascuro in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, one of Pitishca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 77 minutes into the match, CD Derna's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Gibaja came free, but Costante Miquelarena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pitishca's Frutos Presa got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Salvador Romuroso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lastra Negrete showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zernin Roxas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pitishca's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
