Vigil Ameyugo charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vigil Ameyugo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barcelona S.C.! 8 minutes into the match, Barcelona S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Dalmau came free, but Guillermo Ruimonte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Barcelona S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Azcaraso came free, but Guillermo Ruimonte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Artaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Selvayacu SC's Aristides Artaldo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Guillermo Ruimonte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Artaldo in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Barcelona S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Artaldo came free, but Guillermo Ruimonte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barcelona S.C.'s Guillermo Ruimonte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona S.C. from getting a goal against them. After 28 played minutes Barcelona S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Oñate. 29 minutes into the game, Aristides Artaldo lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Guillermo Ruimonte. With a little luck, Barcelona S.C.'s Guillermo Ruimonte got control of the ball when Gonzalo Urdaspal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aristides Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Guillermo Ruimonte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aristides Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Artaldo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 40th minute shot 4-0 at rihgt post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Loco Pelaci made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Selvayacu SC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Aristides Artaldo hit a great ball. Aristides Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Ruimonte having to interfere. Gonzalo Urdaspal took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Ruimonte. Guillermo Ruimonte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Selvayacu SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! 65 minutes into the match, Aristides Artaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Ruimonte. Barcelona S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Artaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Aristides Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Guillermo Ruimonte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Artaldo in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Ruimonte saved Barcelona S.C. from getting behind. When Selvayacu SC's Aristides Artaldo in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barcelona S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Aristides Artaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edgardo Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Paulino Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selvayacu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Gagriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Ruimonte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 minutes, Aristides Artaldo made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Barcelona S.C.'s Guillermo Ruimonte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Edgardo Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Paulino Gagriel came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Selvayacu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Gagriel couldn't finish the play. Aristides Artaldo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Guillermo Ruimonte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selvayacu SC. Selvayacu SC's Jonathan Azcaraso got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selvayacu SC's Paulino Gagriel got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Artaldo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Guillermo Ruimonte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selvayacu SC. After some careless play in the Barcelona S.C. defense, Jonathan Azcaraso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Ruimonte. The Barcelona S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Ruimonte should have stopped the shot. 97 minutes into the match, Selvayacu SC's Aristides Artaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Ruimonte narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
