If Darío Madinabeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vernaza Sedillo was the one to do the kick off. Sorrow FC's Darío Madinabeitia got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xzavaier Vilas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vernaza Sedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caracol SC's zone, Darío Madinabeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xzavaier Vilas came out of the goal and Darío Madinabeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quiróz Cenzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esterilla Paza, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Victoro Barroso's late challenge caught a Caracol SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoro Barroso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Caracol SC booed when Sorrow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoro Barroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Caracol SC's Gustavo Llaria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quiróz Cenzano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Sorrow FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caracol SC:s goal. Caracol SC's Xzavaier Vilas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Caracol SC from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd match minute, Caracol SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Portela to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Esterilla Paza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quiróz Cenzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Vernaza Sedillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xzavaier Vilas. When Victoro Barroso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. After 93 played minutes Sorrow FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoro Barroso. In the 97th minute, Gustavo Llaria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quiróz Cenzano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
