Zuñiga Morejon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Era read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atlanta Juniors's goalkeeper Adolfo Era had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Carasa. Bernardo Carasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Adolfo Era skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Federico Tavira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Moriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Veronica Quijana kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Zuñiga Morejon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardo Carasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Era showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuñiga Morejon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Bernardo Carasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Carasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Adolfo Era when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adolfo Era made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Bernardo Carasa sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Carasa in the 49thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adolfo Era, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Claramonte was the one to do the kick off. If Zuñiga Morejon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute Emanuel Claramonte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Tavira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Era didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romo-LerouX UniTeD F.C EC. The audience was convinced that Zuñiga Morejon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Era was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Romo-LerouX UniTeD F.C EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
