Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yader Montanez started the match with the kick off. Eduardo SC's Oso Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ortiz Guadiana in the 5th minute of play. Yader Montanez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oso Maza having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Corozo Arras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eduardo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Borbones the free kick. Corozo Arras hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Joaquin Ayaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Jurado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Borbones's Yader Montanez got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Davalos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ortiz Guadiana in the 15th minute of play forced Eduardo SC's goalkeeper Oso Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joaquin Ayaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ortiz Guadiana kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Oscar Jurado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umea Chinchilla in the 22nd minute. Oscar Jurado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Ayaso in the 24th minute of the match. José-Luis Carballal's late challenge caught a Eduardo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José-Luis Carballal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, José-Luis Carballal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Joaquin Ayaso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eduardo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Ayaso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Jurado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, CD Borbones's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Ayaso came free, but Oscar Jurado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oso Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ortiz Guadiana, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Ortiz Guadiana came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the CD Borbones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ortiz Guadiana couldn't finish the play. CD Borbones's Yader Montanez got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Kaviedes Echague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oso Maza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yader Montanez's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Ortiz Guadiana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oso Maza was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Corozo Arras hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Yader Montanez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eduardo SC's Oso Maza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Umea Chinchilla made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yader Montanez in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oso Maza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ortiz Guadiana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Oso Maza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CD Borbones's zone, Umea Chinchilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Jurado came out of the goal and Umea Chinchilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ortiz Guadiana managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Borbones's supporters rose to their feet, but Ortiz Guadiana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oso Maza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CD Borbones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ortiz Guadiana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yader Montanez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Oso Maza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kaviedes Echague fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eduardo SC's protests and gave Kaviedes Echague a yellow card for diving instead. Kaviedes Echague kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match CD Borbones got a corner. Eduardo SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Urbano Berrio ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gabriel Olabe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yader Montanez in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oso Maza saved Eduardo SC from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Eduardo SC's goalkeeper Oso Maza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ortiz Guadiana. CD Borbones were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Eduardo SC to leave the ground with a draw.
