Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) After 3 minutes, Enrique Elias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zula and the Guarinag players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Zula got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Elias. Zula's Segundo Roales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Lemus in the 7th minute of play. If Espinola Ilarraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Elias struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Klimovich Velaostegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zula. Zula's Espinola Ilarraza got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Guarinag getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Julian Corullon hit a great ball. Xaven Arriaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Segundo Roales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klimovich Velaostegui was a little too slow when Espinola Ilarraza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xaven Arriaga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Guarinag's Reyes Aya got a free kick in the 55th minute. Xaven Arriaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Roales having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Xaven Arriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Roales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zula's zone, Xaven Arriaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Roales came out of the goal and Xaven Arriaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Diego Lemus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarinag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Lemus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Xaven Arriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Roales made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Julian Corullon sent off a good shot on target. If Espinola Ilarraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Guarinag's Diego Lemus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Segundo Roales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diego Lemus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Segundo Roales made a huge save. When the match was over Guarinag could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zula throughout the match.
