The Kuchints fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manolo Astorgano should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Alonso Zapatero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Kaviedes Minguet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kuchints's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaviedes Minguet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bagui Mazuca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tomas Parrondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Kuchints defense, Miguel Bolantin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manolo Astorgano. The Kuchints fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manolo Astorgano should have stopped the shot. Tomas Parrondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Astorgano having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Carlos-Armando Miñaca made the kick off in the second half. CD Nueva's Bagui Mazuca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferrer Miranda in the 53rd minute of play. Manolo Astorgano made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Tomas Parrondo sent off a good shot on target. Kaviedes Minguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonso Zapatero's late challenge caught a Kuchints's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonso Zapatero helped the player get up and apologised. Kaviedes Minguet struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Bagui Mazuca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuchints. After a rather tough play, CD Nueva's Alonso Zapatero got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaviedes Minguet in the 76th minute of play forced CD Nueva's goalkeeper Bagui Mazuca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Parrondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manolo Astorgano having to make a save. A collision led to Kuchints getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fausto Gante hit a great ball. A hard shot by Felix Enciso from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Manolo Astorgano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 84 minutes into the game, Carlos-Armando Miñaca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bagui Mazuca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Kuchints's Kaviedes Minguet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bagui Mazuca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kuchints's Kaviedes Minguet got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Kuchints supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Nueva's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Nueva.
