In the 37th minute, Pailitas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Espiga Porlier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cornelio Garaona struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Rafael Ibarlucea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sevilla FC. Espiga Porlier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Ibarlucea having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Monge Paradela took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rolf Kvick to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Garaona in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Ibarlucea saved Pailitas from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Sixto Arcaute hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espiga Porlier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rafael Ibarlucea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
