In the 22nd minute, Cornelio Garaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Cornelio Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Gabriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Manuel Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sevilla FC's protests and gave Manuel Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sevilla FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Manuel Almeida hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Felix Acebes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cornelio Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Fabio Yzaguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Vayor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Yzaguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Kvick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ledesma Launda charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 47 played minutes, Sevilla FC's Bernardo Aranguren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oscar Gabriel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sevilla FC reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Espiga Porlier to strike the kick off in the second half. Sevilla FC's Rolf Kvick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximun Ruberte in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Sevilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximun Ruberte came free, but Rolf Kvick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ximun Ruberte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matamba Negrete hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Bernardo Aranguren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rolf Kvick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ataulfo Marsol, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ximun Ruberte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Kvick having to interfere. Rolf Kvick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Yzaguirre in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Ximun Ruberte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 81 minutes, Ximun Ruberte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Vayor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ximun Ruberte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolf Kvick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Yzaguirre in the 85th minute of the match. Espiga Porlier took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Gabriel. Oscar Gabriel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Real Vayor FC's Oscar Gabriel got control of the ball when Espiga Porlier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ximun Ruberte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rolf Kvick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sevilla FC's zone, Ximun Ruberte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Kvick came out of the goal and Ximun Ruberte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sevilla FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
