In the 3rd minute, Urtsin Verga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braulio Zaldua in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Pacio saved The Saibaiman from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, The Saibaiman's goalkeeper Jose Pacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Zaldua. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Augashcola FC's goalkeeper Ricart Sobrado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Viator Estebanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ricart Sobrado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Braulio Zaldua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Pacio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The Saibaiman's Jose Pacio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save The Saibaiman from getting a goal against them. Braulio Zaldua's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Jose Pacio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Frutos Zarra kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Viator Estebanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Augashcola FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Saibaiman the free kick. Braulio Zaldua hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Braulio Zaldua who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Jose Pacio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The nice shot from Braulio Zaldua in the 44thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jose Pacio had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Ricart Sobrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víctor Martinena in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, The Saibaiman's goal looked a bit too open when Zamora Arana came free, but Jose Pacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viator Estebanes to strike the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Augashcola FC's Fausto Pamo tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Viator Estebanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frutos Zarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jose Pacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Saibaiman players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Augashcola FC.
