Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Delfin F.C's Geovanni Viñambres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jaramillo Digon came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Salinas City F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaramillo Digon couldn't finish the play. Sergio Cerrillo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Jaramillo Digon sent off a good shot on target. Edison Arenchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Cerrillo having to interfere. Sergio Cerrillo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Salinas City F.C.'s Jaramillo Digon. But to his dismay, Jaramillo Digon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jaramillo Digon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sergio Cerrillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edison Arenchen took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Cerrillo. Sergio Cerrillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaramillo Digon got free with Sergio Cerrillo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Cerrillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edison Arenchen's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Jaramillo Digon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergio Cerrillo was a little too slow when Vachon Ceballos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. Sergio Cerrillo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jaramillo Digon sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Cerrillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edison Arenchen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. Edison Arenchen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Cerrillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Jaramillo Digon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edison Arenchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Edison Arenchen made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Delfin F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alarcón Roiz to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Cerrillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edison Arenchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Edison Arenchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sergio Cerrillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romo Macua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaramillo Digon ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergio Cerrillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edison Arenchen in the 90th minute of the match. Delfin F.C's Sergio Cerrillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edison Arenchen in the 94th minute of play. Jaramillo Digon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Cerrillo having to interfere.
