Santiago Morenas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urtsin Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Toreros F.C. booed when Barcelona S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palacios Novales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Morenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Salterain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palacios Novales kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Santiago Morenas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Toreros F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Toreros F.C.'s Coronel Burgueño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Mortal in the 22nd minute of play. Freddy Salterain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coronel Burgueño having to interfere. Zorion Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zorion Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zorion Pereira hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Xzavier Villatoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Zorion Pereira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. In the 33rd minute, Zorion Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coronel Burgueño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Mortal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Barcelona S.C. were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Toreros F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yiyo Montaña took the corner. The corner ended in Yiyo Montaña almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Toreros F.C.'s Coronel Burgueño did a great save. In the 42nd minute Americo Piedeconcha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urtsin Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Morenas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Mortal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Santiago Morenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Toreros F.C.'s Jama Varas to fire away a dangerous shot which Urtsin Gonzalez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Freddy Salterain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barcelona S.C.'s Freddy Salterain got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmy Mortal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Coronel Burgueño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Salterain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Morenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urtsin Gonzalez having to interfere. Urtsin Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Morenas in the 79th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Barcelona S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Geovanny Manes. Toreros F.C.'s Coronel Burgueño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Toreros F.C. from getting a goal against them. Coronel Burgueño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Salterain went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barcelona S.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
