In the 24thth minute of the game Urre Ontavilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Nashicta's Roque Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Albizua to make the kick off. Vidal Orbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yépez Alcubilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, UD Nashicta's Silvio Albizua made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yépez Alcubilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 minutes, Zavior Castillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banana Mecánica and the UD Nashicta players grew even worse after the yellow card. UD Nashicta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
