Fidel Gou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Taya. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Veronica Talaga sped through AS Roma's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fidel Gou. In the 22nd minute, Coyette Balerdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Pachistre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fidel Gou made a huge save. Zeledon Pachistre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Gou having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Valentin Mesa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Taya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Fidel Gou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veronica Talaga's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Coyette Balerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arévalo Salazar having to interfere. There was no doubt that CD Taya were the better team. CD Taya's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
