After having played for 17 minutes, Xacobo Cabrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona S.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xacobo Cabrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Xacobo Cabrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xorxe Goiri in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Cobian saved CA Parque Central from getting behind. After the first half Barcelona S.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Callergos to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CA Parque Central's zone, Xorxe Goiri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Cobian came out of the goal and Xorxe Goiri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Xacobo Cabrero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Xacobo Cabrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cristobal Cobian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barcelona S.C's Mendoza Murrillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Albizua in the 63rd minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xorxe Goiri couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Zornin Socobio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xacobo Cabrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Cobian having to interfere. If Xorxe Goiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Cobian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xorxe Goiri, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
