Juan-Alfredo Caro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Heraña having to interfere. AEK Cuchipamba's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Juan-Alfredo Caro 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Edwin Zubillaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Raul Heraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Cumbicus Zorrilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovando Resto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Alonso Varioz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Heraña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Alfredo Caro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Alfredo Caro to make the kick off. AEK Cuchipamba's Raul Heraña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Alfredo Caro in the 56th minute of play. If Edwin Zubillaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Sepayan TM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Samano to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Sepayan TM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
