After 5 minutes of play, Ruta 53's Gian-Carlo Calzada made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovando Resto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ruta 53's Leo Diana in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sepayan TM's goalie prevented a goal. The referee gave Ruta 53 a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vincente Infante, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sepayan TM's Ovando Resto. 0-2. In the 20th minute, Edwin Zubillaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Hidalgo Terres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ruta 53 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ovando Resto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Avalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Leo Diana notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Sepayan TM's Ovando Resto. Ovando Resto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovando Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidalgo Terres in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ruta 53 defense, Edwin Zubillaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yiyo Chavarri. The Ruta 53 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yiyo Chavarri should have stopped the shot. If Leo Diana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ovando Resto came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ruta 53's Moisés Lorenzo. But to his dismay, Moisés Lorenzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Leo Diana made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sepayan TM's Ovando Resto got control of the ball when Moisés Lorenzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovando Resto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Diana went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Hidalgo Terres scored 1-9 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovando Resto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 72 minutes, Moisés Lorenzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruta 53 and the Sepayan TM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moisés Lorenzo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Yiyo Chavarri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Zubillaga in the 73rd minute of play. Ovando Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidalgo Terres in the 74th minute of play. Ovando Resto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Lorenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Avalo struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ovando Resto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruta 53. In the 84th minute, Ruta 53's Moisés Lorenzo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovando Resto. Ovando Resto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. Ovando Resto made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Leo Diana sent off a good shot on target. Ovando Resto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gian-Carlo Calzada, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Edwin Zubillaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Yiyo Chavarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sepayan TM's Ovando Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Avalo in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Zubillaga in the 96th minute of play forced Ruta 53's goalkeeper Yiyo Chavarri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute, Christian Avalo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
