With a little luck, spartacos's Mellington Marto got control of the ball when Guerrero Gajardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When David Mangual fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored spartacos's protests and gave David Mangual a yellow card for diving instead. Mellington Marto came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by La Vecchia Signora's Antonio Santillan. But to his dismay, Antonio Santillan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Gabriel Avalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes La Vecchia Signora got a freekick which was hit by Guerrero Gajardo. Gabriel Avalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fidel Dabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cumbicus Novoa had several of the spartacos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Mellington Marto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Antonio Santillan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mellington Marto having to interfere. The supporters of spartacos booed when La Vecchia Signora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Marty didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Xefe Caldevila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fidel Dabi skillfully saved the ball. Antonio Santillan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mellington Marto having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vedillo Ripol made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Santillan in the 54th minute of play forced spartacos's goalkeeper Mellington Marto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Antonio Santillan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mellington Marto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Santillan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Dabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedillo Ripol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Antonio Santillan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the La Vecchia Signora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Santillan couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, La Vecchia Signora's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Avalo came free, but Fidel Dabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Santillan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind spartacos's goalkeeper Mellington Marto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Xefe Caldevila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the spartacos and the La Vecchia Signora players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to spartacos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Xefe Caldevila hit a great ball. Antonio Santillan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mellington Marto having to interfere.
