Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 90) Weather Asegninolaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iza Cotan, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Iza Cotan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weather Asegninolaza having to interfere. CD Toscon's Iwan Raschke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Paramo in the 17th minute of play. Agustin Barbaris short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Weather Asegninolaza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iwan Raschke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Crespo in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Fernandez Tavira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes, UD Cevallos's Roberto Ocampo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iwan Raschke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Cevallos reached it. 30 minutes into the match, Eduardo Paramo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Raschke. CD Toscon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Paramo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 36 played minutes CD Toscon got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Barbari. 37 minutes into the match, CD Toscon's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Arnaiz came free, but Iwan Raschke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efrain Arnaiz in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Raschke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Eduardo Paramo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Raschke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Eduardo Paramo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Cevallos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Paramo to make the kick off. Perlaza Peruyera kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Eduardo Paramo scored 0-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Raschke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iwan Raschke made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Efrain Arnaiz sent off a good shot on target. Weather Asegninolaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iza Cotan in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in UD Cevallos's zone, Agustin Barbari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Weather Asegninolaza came out of the goal and Agustin Barbari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwan Raschke was a little too slow when Efrain Arnaiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-4. Eduardo Paramo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Iwan Raschke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Guemez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Elguero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Weather Asegninolaza. UD Cevallos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. UD Cevallos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
