Alfredo Araso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Poso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Figueroa Telleria in the 43rd minute of play forced Subibaja's goalkeeper Alfonso Moncada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Fierro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Araso made a kick off. In the 74th minute, Patricio Fierro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Poso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Alfredo Araso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD LaCroix's Leo Poso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save CD LaCroix from getting a goal against them. Luis-Antonio Olaondo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Figueroa Telleria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CD LaCroix booed when Subibaja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moreta Morelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Subibaja players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
