Rodolfo Cubillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gomez Galdia's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute Ovidio Tellez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Escobar Gabirondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gomez Galdia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Palianza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olguin SC's Rodolfo Cubillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gomez Galdia in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ramos Cuetos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Christobal Nieves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Cubillo skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gomez Galdia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lolita SC's Mauricio Carbajo got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute Ramos Cuetos suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Gomez Galdia charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gomez Galdia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gomez Galdia kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Rodolfo Cubillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomez Galdia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Fabio Palianza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gomez Galdia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Cubillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Lolita SC got a freekick which was hit by Christobal Nieves. Ovidio Tellez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Escobar Gabirondo made a huge save. Rodolfo Cubillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Palianza in the 88th minute of the match. Lolita SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
