Spectators: 7392 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carabalí Cura started the match with the kick off. Sanchez Melgar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Mouricio in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Hernan Poblaciones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sanchez Melgar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carabalí Cura in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Almendral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis-Antonio Irabien to maneuver through the defense. Mellington Laboy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Almendral's Luis-Antonio Irabien slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zorion Garcidueñas. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the game, Carabalí Cura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sanchez Melgar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sanchez Melgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When %teams%'s Luis-Antonio Irabien was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-1 just inside the left pole, 31 minutes into the game. Zorion Garcidueñas was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 35th minute, Almendral's Luis-Antonio Irabien ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zorion Garcidueñas. Zorion Garcidueñas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. With a little luck, GOW FC's Zorion Garcidueñas got control of the ball when Xavian Guinea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Almendral booed when GOW FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xzavaier Campillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Mellington Laboy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GOW FC's Zorion Garcidueñas didn't even have to move. Luis-Antonio Irabien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zorion Garcidueñas having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis-Antonio Irabien to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Carabalí Cura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes GOW FC got a freekick which was hit by Caco Vinhas. 56 minutes into the match, Almendral's goalkeeper Sanchez Melgar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Mouricio. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Luis-Antonio Irabien put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zorion Garcidueñas. Mellington Laboy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Mouricio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sanchez Melgar. Vladimiro Mouricio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Zorion Garcidueñas came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Almendral's Xavian Guinea. But to his dismay, Xavian Guinea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. GOW FC's Edmundo Vitoria was substituted for Xavier Paniagua. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricart Falces in the 85th minute of play forced Almendral's goalkeeper Sanchez Melgar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorion Garcidueñas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Zabalo in the 90th minute of play. After 92nd play minutes Luis-Antonio Irabien shot 6-2, a short shot which went by Zorion Garcidueñas and just under the crossbar into goal.
