Pio Iriarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernández Agulla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Manila SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.C. INTERNAZIONALE:s goal. Bassam Al Shati shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 33 minutes into the match, Manila SC's Xinto Macon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zygmunt Zachemski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Ximeno Urraca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pio Iriarte. The goal made the score 0-1. 60 minutes into the match, Manila SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernández Agulla came free, but Pio Iriarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Fernández Agulla managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. INTERNAZIONALE's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernández Agulla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernández Agulla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Pio Iriarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 84 minutes, Fernández Agulla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. INTERNAZIONALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernández Agulla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ximeno Urraca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to F.C. INTERNAZIONALE getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bassam Al Shati hit a great ball. The Manila SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C. INTERNAZIONALE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
