Valeriu Cristescu struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Valdo Ochoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vargas F.C © GYE. After a rather tough play, america juniors's Wilfredo Pescatori got a free kick in the 7th minute. Omar Arada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Valdo Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdo Ochoa was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Roman Gabaldon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roman Gabaldon really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Kléber Burdeos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Farran in the 20th minute of the match. Castro Forcat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Burdeos having to interfere. Kléber Burdeos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Bringas in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes america juniors got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Astudillo. Geancarlos Murrillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Valdo Ochoa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Omar Arada took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Valdo Ochoa to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Arada in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Ochoa saved america juniors from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Omar Arada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vargas F.C © GYE's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Arada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdo Ochoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Omar Arada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdo Ochoa was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Valeriu Cristescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee showed Rey Bringas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Rey Bringas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Omar Arada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Castro Forcat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kléber Burdeos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Omar Arada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geancarlos Murrillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdo Ochoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Omar Arada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
