In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patagrande FC's goalkeeper Xurxo Arriba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Jorge Coronel managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Patagrande FC's Kaviedes Salgueiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. EL PAIS DEL GOL's Jorge Coronel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaniusky Venancio in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Roberto Tosantos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Coronel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaniusky Venancio in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Yaniusky Venancio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patagrande FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaniusky Venancio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Coronel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yaniusky Venancio made a kick off. Justavino Loño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Sarratea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Xurxo Arriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Fidel Luina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes, Arias Bonal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patagrande FC and the EL PAIS DEL GOL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute Kaviedes Salgueiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Coronel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Justavino Loño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xurxo Arriba was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, EL PAIS DEL GOL's goal looked a bit too open when Yaniusky Venancio came free, but Jorge Coronel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
