Xavier Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Arboleda Espuga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Beamud struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Lucio Rovires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asancoto SC. Lucio Rovires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Beamud in the 37th minute of play. Asancoto SC's Amador Beamud got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tipococha SC's zone, Xavier Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Rovires came out of the goal and Xavier Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amador Beamud to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Amador Beamud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asancoto SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Beamud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Amador Beamud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Rovires was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th match minute, Tipococha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arboleda Espuga to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Rovires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Beamud, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Amador Beamud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arboleda Espuga hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tipococha SC's zone, Amador Beamud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Rovires came out of the goal and Amador Beamud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tipococha SC's Arboleda Espuga got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Arboleda Espuga off the ground. In the 94th minute, Arboleda Espuga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Alvaredo during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tipococha SC booed when Asancoto SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Alvaredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Asancoto SC had played much better football throughout.
