Ubendu Picado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xosepe Cortinas's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The supporters of Chuga booed when CD Atilio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Larrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, CD Atilio's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepe Cortinas came free, but Ubendu Picado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, CD Atilio's Vasco Saiz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. CD Atilio's Ubendu Picado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xosepe Cortinas in the 22nd minute of play. Ubendu Picado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepe Cortinas in the 24th minute of the match. Ubendu Picado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Charri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pascual Charri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes of play, Chuga's Pascual Charri made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubendu Picado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 37 played minutes CD Atilio got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Forcada. Chuga's Texeira Calonge couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CD Atilio. 45 minutes into the game, Pascual Charri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Atilio the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chuga's Pascual Charri got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some careless play in the CD Atilio defense, Xalbador Peñalba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubendu Picado. The CD Atilio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubendu Picado should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Charri to strike the kick off in the second half. Tenorio Bolantin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Carlos-Alberto Ibio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Atilio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuga the free kick. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in CD Atilio's zone, Pascual Charri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubendu Picado came out of the goal and Pascual Charri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xosepe Cortinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubendu Picado had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Pascual Charri from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience was convinced that Pascual Charri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubendu Picado was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Vasco Saiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Atilio's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasco Saiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xzavier Balderrama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
