Selvayacu
Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavier Geli started the match with the kick off. When Selvayacu's Umbruso Balaguer in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quiroga's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th minute, Ubelteso Barria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Machado Folch kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Selvayacu's Jácome Alamon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Lloreda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jácome Alamon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Lloreda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Xavier Geli kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Xavier Geli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maximiliano Peredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Martin Albino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quiroga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Selvayacu the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quiroga's Martin Albino got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Umbruso Balaguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Fabian Lloreda throw himself and got hold of the ball when Umbruso Balaguer in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jácome Alamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Lloreda having to interfere. The supporters of Selvayacu booed when Quiroga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Geli didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umbruso Balaguer in the 36th minute of play forced Quiroga's goalkeeper Fabian Lloreda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jácome Alamon came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Selvayacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jácome Alamon couldn't finish the play. If Xavier Geli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Umbruso Balaguer made the kick off in the second half. Fabian Lloreda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Monedero's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Jácome Alamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Lloreda having to interfere. If Jácome Alamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Machado Folch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quiroga! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Selvayacu. Leon Tormes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabian Lloreda. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jácome Alamon in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Lloreda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Umbruso Balaguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Lloreda having to interfere. Fabian Lloreda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jácome Alamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jácome Alamon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selvayacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Jácome Alamon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Lloreda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Quiroga's goal looked a bit too open when Umbruso Balaguer came free, but Fabian Lloreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jácome Alamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umbruso Balaguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Lloreda having to interfere. Oswaldo Monedero struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Fabian Lloreda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selvayacu. Quiroga's Martin Albino got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Selvayacu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
