Joyagshi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iván Sancha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ugaitz Figueruela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gonzalo Barreda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peter Monesterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Bares, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Joyagshi FC's Xesus Roca got a free kick in the 41st minute. Arévalo Penilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Peter Monesterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Joyagshi FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tajamar FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Barreda to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Gonzalo Barreda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ugaitz Figueruela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rafael Sarratea fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joyagshi FC's protests and gave Rafael Sarratea a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Joyagshi FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Sarratea. Genaro Larrieta charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Larrieta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Genaro Larrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arévalo Penilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Monesterio having to interfere. If Arévalo Penilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ugaitz Figueruela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Sancha in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tajamar FC's Genaro Larrieta got a free kick in the 77th minute. Igor Frecha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arévalo Penilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Arévalo Penilla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Joyagshi FC's zone, Arévalo Penilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Monesterio came out of the goal and Arévalo Penilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Bares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Monesterio having to interfere. Tajamar FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
