Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lisandro Alcolea made the kick off which started today's match. Lisandro Alcolea's late challenge caught a RANGER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Alcolea helped the player get up and apologised. If Lisandro Alcolea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RANGER FC's Xian Bruna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Alcolea in the 7th minute of play. The corner led Naranja Mecanica FC's Ivan Manzanedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Xian Bruna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lisandro Alcolea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xian Bruna having to interfere. Xian Bruna was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Ataulfo Escobedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ataulfo Escobedo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Naranja Mecanica FC's Trivniño Loizaga got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Naranja Mecanica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Dimas came free, but José-Francisco Vanegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naranja Mecanica FC's José-Francisco Vanegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Dimas in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Naranja Mecanica FC's Lisandro Alcolea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xian Bruna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José-Francisco Vanegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cotera Corrillos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Duarte Tortoles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RANGER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cotera Corrillos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José-Francisco Vanegas having to make a save. After the first half RANGER FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Lisandro Alcolea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Trivniño Loizaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xian Bruna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Naranja Mecanica FC booed when RANGER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. José-Francisco Araico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Alcolea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Xian Bruna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trivniño Loizaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José-Francisco Vanegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Dimas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xian Bruna came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Naranja Mecanica FC's Trivniño Loizaga. But to his dismay, Trivniño Loizaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Cotera Corrillos might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José-Francisco Vanegas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cotera Corrillos ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Cesar Dimas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RANGER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Dimas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, RANGER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José-Francisco Araico to maneuver through the defense. Xian Bruna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trivniño Loizaga in the 82nd minute of the match. After 99 minutes RANGER FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Manzanedo who took care of the corner kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
