Batista Cachorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Grijan having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Jidcay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Batista Cachorro came free, but Simon Grijan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xandro Lujarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umbruso Fanego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anangonó Galindo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anangonó Galindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jidcay FC booed when CD Chicana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anangonó Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sánchez Leyte got free with Xandro Lujarra in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 played minutes CD Chicana got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Areta. Batista Cachorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Simon Grijan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xandro Lujarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Fanego, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Umbruso Fanego dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xandro Lujarra, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 72nd minute, Ordonez Subiza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xandro Lujarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Fanego, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Lopez Chicarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Chicana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alberto Ontavilla hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in CD Chicana's zone, Sánchez Leyte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xandro Lujarra came out of the goal and Sánchez Leyte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Umbruso Fanego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sánchez Leyte scored 2-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xandro Lujarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jidcay FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
