Paramo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave M7 C.F. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paramo's Bolívar Camara got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes, M7 C.F.'s Sergio Raon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elvis Gene came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in M7 C.F. reached it. Moreno Hesles came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Paramo's Rafael Villalva. But to his dismay, Rafael Villalva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Paramo's Rafael Villalva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moreno Hesles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Rafael Villalva's late challenge caught a M7 C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Villalva helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Villalva hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Blanco Feijoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ysmael Ron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The M7 C.F. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paramo were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xinaro Viesca to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Pascual Lobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blanco Feijoo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvis Gene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind M7 C.F.'s goalkeeper Moreno Hesles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Paramo's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Feijoo came free, but Elvis Gene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of M7 C.F. booed when Paramo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Villalva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th match minute, M7 C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotomayor Lamota to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Paramo's Lorenzo Sepulveda tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Lobo got free with Moreno Hesles in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Xinaro Viesca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moreno Hesles was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paramo's goalkeeper Elvis Gene, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blanco Feijoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The M7 C.F. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paramo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
