Campos Retes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Parisi Moreira's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Campos Retes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pinto Berrueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campos Retes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pinto Berrueta went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th match minute, Kaizer Chiefs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azconzábal Lecubarri to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Parisi Moreira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kaizer Chiefs's Campos Retes. Campos Retes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. De-la-Cruz Reoyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neicer Velarde got free with Almandoz Candolias in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaizer Chiefs's De-la-Cruz Reoyo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. De-la-Cruz Reoyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almandoz Candolias having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Antizana FC's zone, Neicer Velarde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almandoz Candolias came out of the goal and Neicer Velarde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Antizana FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Desiderio Alaez hit a great ball. 1-2 became the score in the 45th minute when Neicer Velarde elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Kaizer Chiefs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Antizana FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when De-la-Cruz Reoyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Antizana FC booed when Kaizer Chiefs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Castrejana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Campos Retes made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Pinto Berrueta sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Neicer Velarde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almandoz Candolias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Kaizer Chiefs's goal looked a bit too open when Parisi Moreira came free, but Campos Retes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Parisi Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Campos Retes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kaizer Chiefs getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Azconzábal Lecubarri hit a great ball. When Parisi Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Antizana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Parisi Moreira couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Kaizer Chiefs's Campos Retes got control of the ball when Pinto Berrueta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antizana FC's Pinto Berrueta got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kaizer Chiefs's Campos Retes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parisi Moreira in the 71st minute of play. Almandoz Candolias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from De-la-Cruz Reoyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Parisi Moreira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Campos Retes, passed just outside the right post. A hard shot by Desiderio Alaez from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Campos Retes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Uxio Serra's late challenge caught a Antizana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uxio Serra helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Antizana FC booed when Kaizer Chiefs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uxio Serra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If De-la-Cruz Reoyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antizana FC's Parisi Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play Kaizer Chiefs's Uxio Serra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Antizana FC's Pinto Berrueta got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Antizana FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
