After 3 played minutes Vilcabamba got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Covillas. 4 minutes into the match, Super Smash BROS.'s Torres Pan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aguirre Carrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Cainzos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Vilcabamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burbano Valcarcel to maneuver through the defense. Alex Aulestia took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aguirre Carrio. Aguirre Carrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 20 minutes, Flavio Covillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilcabamba and the Super Smash BROS. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vilcabamba's Flavio Covillas got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Vilcabamba booed when Super Smash BROS. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Murga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Celso Cainzos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aguirre Carrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Vilcabamba's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Gou came free, but Manuel Lumbreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Alex Aulestia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilcabamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Aulestia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Aizpurua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Manuel Lumbreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Lorenzo Gou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Smash BROS.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Gou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Super Smash BROS.'s Mateus Vascones got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Gou was the one to do the kick off. Aguirre Carrio came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vilcabamba's Celso Cainzos. But to his dismay, Celso Cainzos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 57 minutes into the match, Vilcabamba's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Gou came free, but Manuel Lumbreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Cainzos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Aguirre Carrio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 64 minutes into the match, Vilcabamba's Burbano Valcarcel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aguirre Carrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Alex Aulestia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Vilcabamba booed when Super Smash BROS. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torres Pan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Super Smash BROS.'s Aguirre Carrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Aulestia in the 91st minute of play. Manuel Lumbreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Aizpurua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilcabamba's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
