The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ramón Ruperto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cordero Calvillo went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tinoco's Cordero Calvillo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Ledesma's late challenge caught a Tinoco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Ledesma helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to WOLFES getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Joaquin Ledesma hit a great ball. When Bernardo Badia fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tinoco's protests and gave Bernardo Badia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of WOLFES booed when Tinoco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Badia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordero Calvillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ramón Ruperto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Ruperto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xabier Olazabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Xabier Olazabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Ruperto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to WOLFES getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alarcón Garzona hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alarcón Garzona during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, WOLFES's Alarcón Garzona got a free kick in the 26th minute. Cordero Calvillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Ruperto having to interfere. Joaquin Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes WOLFES got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Govantes. Cordero Calvillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Ruperto having to interfere. Cordero Calvillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Ruperto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Xabier Olazabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ramón Ruperto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordero Calvillo was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, WOLFES's Ramón Ruperto got control of the ball when Xabier Olazabal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of WOLFES booed when Tinoco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabier Olazabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, WOLFES's goal looked a bit too open when Cordero Calvillo came free, but Ramón Ruperto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xabier Olazabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alarcón Garzona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramón Ruperto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordero Calvillo in the 80th minute of the match. During the 86th minute of the match Alarcón Garzona completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alarcón Garzona a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Cordero Calvillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, WOLFES's Trota Granell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Vilella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xabier Olazabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tinoco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
