Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zambrano Villarinos started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Marin Escobar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Añel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Carcelén Ribeiro fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shunto FC's protests and gave Carcelén Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Carcelén Ribeiro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Añel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zambrano Villarinos in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Shunto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viteri Zuazna to maneuver through the defense. Xarles Galera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Añel having to interfere. If Xarles Galera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zambrano Villarinos took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Añel. Rodrigo Añel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in CD Putupano's zone, Suscal Marrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roris Ciscal came out of the goal and Suscal Marrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, CD Putupano's Xarles Galera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Añel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wellington Santisteban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roris Ciscal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Wellington Santisteban had several of the CD Putupano's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Roris Ciscal as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 39th minute of the match Cristobal Valda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roris Ciscal skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Shunto FC's Suscal Marrero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roris Ciscal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute Zambrano Villarinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Añel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Wellington Santisteban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roris Ciscal having to interfere. Roris Ciscal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Suscal Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Suscal Marrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shunto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Zambrano Villarinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rodrigo Añel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Wellington Santisteban put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roris Ciscal. After a rather tough play, Shunto FC's Viteri Zuazna got a free kick in the 71st minute. Zambrano Villarinos struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rodrigo Añel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Putupano. When Suscal Marrero came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Shunto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suscal Marrero couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, Shunto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carcelén Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Lucas Fraile shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Añel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wellington Santisteban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carcelén Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Wellington Santisteban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roris Ciscal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roris Ciscal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Suscal Marrero went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 93rdth minute of the game Wellington Santisteban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Putupano's Roris Ciscal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suscal Marrero in the 95th minute of play forced CD Putupano's goalkeeper Roris Ciscal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the CD Putupano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Shunto FC.
