In the 17th minute, Lucio Marful ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Bonjoch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Xosepe Urriola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Xelo Alpanseque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Geovanni Urria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xelo Alpanseque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Urria's late challenge caught a Moloboc FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Celama's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Bonjoch was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Xzaver Merodo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56th play minutes Xzaver Merodo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Xelo Alpanseque and just under the crossbar into goal. Marcelo Bonjoch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Celama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lara Lobato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Bonjoch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Alejandro Celama struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Marcelo Bonjoch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moloboc FC.
