Elias FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Tejar the free kick. Tomas Arraiz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match Santos Feliciano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Espinola Gamez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Espinola Gamez came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Tejar's Damian Lezarazo. But to his dismay, Damian Lezarazo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Espinola Gamez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Lezarazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Xamo Sabando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elias FC's goalkeeper Espinola Gamez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ataulfo Volante came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the UD Tejar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ataulfo Volante couldn't finish the play. Espinola Gamez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Neyda, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Damian Lezarazo made a precise shot to the right of Espinola Gamez. Elias FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ulizes Resco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Espinola Gamez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Lezarazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Espinola Gamez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Lezarazo in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Elias FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ataulfo Volante came free, but Espinola Gamez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Elias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asensio Cañal to maneuver through the defense. Asensio Cañal came free in the 36th minute and tried to tip the ball over Nicolas Bustamante, but to the joy of UD Tejar's supporters the ball went over. In the 38th minute, Ulizes Resco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Intriago Era fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Bustamante having to interfere. Espinola Gamez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ataulfo Volante in the 45th minute of the match. Espinola Gamez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Lezarazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Lezarazo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ataulfo Volante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Espinola Gamez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espinola Gamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Lezarazo in the 53rd minute of play. Armando Neyda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Espinola Gamez came out and tried to block the shot, but Armando Neyda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 54th minute. Espinola Gamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Lezarazo in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Elias FC's Espinola Gamez got control of the ball when Xamo Sabando tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Elias FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Intriago Era hit a great ball. Marcelino Llata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Bustamante having to interfere. Espinola Gamez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Lezarazo in the 84th minute of the match. Espinola Gamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Lezarazo in the 93rd minute of play. Espinola Gamez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damian Lezarazo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 95 minute of play. The UD Tejar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UD Tejar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
