Richard Artaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Ladron having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Pascuales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuriko Maderos to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Richard Artaza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Ladron was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Artaza to make the kick off. UD Gualalaico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
