In the 12th minute of the match, Xuoco Sagarribay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Esterilla Contera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rene Rafales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viator Varas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in NERV football club's zone, Roberto Escarraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Rafales came out of the goal and Roberto Escarraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xeromo Verdes struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Rene Rafales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cancan. Viator Varas took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Rafales. Rene Rafales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cancan's Viator Varas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xeromo Verdes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Rafales having to interfere. A collision led to NERV football club getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yambay Larrauri hit a great ball. Roberto Escarraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viator Varas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Rafales having to make a save. In the 34th match minute, NERV football club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roldan Gainzarain to maneuver through the defense. Rene Rafales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viator Varas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Viator Varas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Rene Rafales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cancan. In the 45th minute, Roberto Escarraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viator Varas to strike the kick off in the second half. Xeromo Verdes might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Rafales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xeromo Verdes ran back to his position shaking his head. Rene Rafales made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Roberto Escarraz sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Escarraz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Viator Varas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NERV football club's Rene Rafales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viator Varas in the 69th minute of play. If Viator Varas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roldan Gainzarain fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NERV football club's protests and gave Roldan Gainzarain a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Roldan Gainzarain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Escarraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viator Varas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rene Rafales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viator Varas got free with Rene Rafales in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Roberto Escarraz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 84th minute, Roldan Gainzarain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Viator Varas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xuoco Sagarribay hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Cotera Perdiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esterilla Contera was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Rene Rafales came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cancan's Roberto Escarraz. But to his dismay, Roberto Escarraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The NERV football club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cancan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
