Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The attack was good, but when Torres Guisasola in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Torres Guisasola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Lambarri in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Baraona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torres Guisasola in the 25th minute of play forced Puelazo's goalkeeper Jonathan Folch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puelazo reached it. If Fernando Lambarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Torres Guisasola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Folch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Dozal scored 0-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Folch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

A collision led to Buenaventura getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Walter Gualda hit a great ball. If Fernando Lambarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Buenaventura's Torres Guisasola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Folch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Puelazo's Jonathan Folch got control of the ball when Victorio Dozal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Folch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Dozal in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Victorio Dozal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fernando Lambarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torres Guisasola was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jonathan Folch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torres Guisasola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Buenaventura were awarded a corner. Ricardo Calera went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Buenaventura's Ambrossi Zaton to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Folch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. González Alcivia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Folch made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Victorio Dozal sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Buenaventura eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
